The Lehigh Valley has a cohesive and diverse Jewish community. Our Jewish leadership and organizations consciously collaborate in many ways to welcome individuals and families of all backgrounds, ages, and levels of Jewish engagement. We partner with other congregations for community-wide celebrations, religious school, as well as Bethlehem-specific community events and programs. Lehigh Valley Community Mikvah
Our Community Mikvah is a project of the Hebrew Family League, an umbrella organization which also oversees the Lehigh Valley Kashruth Commission and the Allentown Chevra Kadisha. The HFL has operated a community Mikvah in Allentown since 1963.

Jewish Day School of the Lehigh Valley
For those families interested in a more intensive Jewish educational experience, The Jewish Day School in Allentown offers an excellent program of secular and Judaic studies for children in primary kindergarten through grade eight. Jewish Family Service of the Lehigh Valley
Jewish Family Service of the Lehigh Valley, guided by Jewish values, helps individuals and families to live healthier and more stable lives by providing social services, professional counseling, education and community programs.
Jewish Federation of the Lehigh Valley
The Jewish Federation of the Lehigh Valley funds and supports a community-wide network of organizations that do two things:
1. Care for people in need here at home, in Israel and around the world.
2. Nurture and sustain the Jewish community today and for future generations.
In conjunction with this, Federation publishes HAKOL, the only Jewish community newspaper in the Lehigh Valley.
The Lehigh Valley Jewish clergy meets regularly to share and discuss ways in which to constantly improve the quality of Jewish life in the Lehigh Valley. Conservative, Reform, Modern Orthodox, Reconstructionist, and Chabad—all support one another and work together to serve our community better.
