Membership

Your Membership Dues

Dues cover about 1/3 of our annual expenses. Membership is not restricted based on financial limitations.

Household

Family membership consists of a couple, or partners, and all dependent children under 21 years of age, and all their children over 21 years of age who are full-time students and who are dependent upon their parents for support.

One adult family member must be of the Jewish faith. Non-Jewish household members are welcome to participate in the Brith Sholom community with the caveat that they are unable to participate in specific Jewish rituals that require them to be of the Jewish faith (i.e., receive an Aliyah, burial, etc.).

Single

Single membership consists of a single person or parent and all dependent children under 21 years of age, and all children over 21 years of age who are full-time students and who are dependent upon parents for support. Single members must be of the Jewish faith.

Associate

Membership is available to any member of the Jewish faith who is 21 years of age or older and is a member in good standing of another Jewish synagogue and who resides within thirty (30) miles of Congregation Brith Sholom. Membership includes religious, educational, cultural, and social privileges.
