For more than 30 years, Sam has served as our ba’al t’fila, leading services on Shabbat, festivals, and the High Holidays.
Sam’s style of leading services is very inclusive, and he strives to involve everyone.
Born and raised in Bethlehem, Sam works as an actor in New York City and across the country.
Tammy is an experienced office administrator who is driven by compassion and commitment. She takes pride in providing the best support possible with a cheerful and pleasant attitude. Married to Maurice, with two sons and three grandsons. She is talented at cooking and sewing, creating her own designs whenever time permits, and she loves reading.
Shira grew up at Congregation Brith Sholom: she had her bat mitzvah here and was an active member of USY – even serving 2 years as a regional board member. Her father, z”l, found his spiritual home at CBS, and her mother is an active volunteer here. Shira has a professional background in environmental sustainability, consulting, and entrepreneurship. She received her BA in Boston, her MUP in New York City, and her MBA in Haifa. Shira comes to CBS from Israel, where she lived for 9 years.
